Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NvrSlow ("the Service"), operated by NvrSlow ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

NvrSlow is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for auto detailing businesses. The Service provides tools for online booking and scheduling, client and vehicle management, invoicing and payment processing, SMS appointment reminders and notifications, before-and-after photo documentation, AI-powered social media captions and review response drafts, and a public-facing booking page for your customers.

NvrSlow is a business management tool and does not itself provide auto detailing services. You are solely responsible for the services you offer to your customers.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

To use NvrSlow, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, and business details. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring that your account information remains accurate and up to date
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your business.

4. Free Trial

NvrSlow offers a free 14-day trial for new accounts. The trial provides access to core platform features so you can evaluate the Service. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the 14-day trial period, your account will automatically expire unless you subscribe to a paid plan. We will not charge you automatically at the end of your trial. Any data entered during the trial will be retained and available if you choose to subscribe.

5. Subscription and Billing

After your free trial, continued access to NvrSlow requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Key billing terms:

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
  • Price changes:We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any subscription price increases. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
  • Payment processing:Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

6. 10-Booking Guarantee

NvrSlow offers a 10-booking guarantee for new paid subscribers. If you do not receive at least 10 bookings within 30 days of creating your account, we will refund your first month's subscription fee and provide an additional month of free access. Key terms:

  • The 30-day guarantee period begins on the date your account is created, not the date of your first payment.
  • Bookings are counted automatically by the platform. Both bookings made through your public booking page and bookings you create manually count toward the guarantee.
  • If the guarantee is not met and you are an active paid subscriber, the refund is processed automatically. No action is required on your part.
  • After a guarantee refund, your account remains active with full access for an additional 30 days at no charge.
  • The guarantee may be claimed once per account. Creating a new account to claim the guarantee again is not permitted.
  • The guarantee applies only to paid subscribers. Accounts that remain on the free trial without subscribing are not eligible for a refund.

7. Referral Program

NvrSlow offers a referral program that provides a recurring subscription credit for referring new paid subscribers. Key terms:

  • You earn a credit equal to 20% of the referred subscriber's monthly subscription fee for as long as they remain an active paid subscriber.
  • Referral credits are applied to your subscription. Credits do not result in cash payouts.
  • A referral is credited only after the referred user completes their first paid month (not during their free trial).
  • Credits stop if the referred subscriber cancels their subscription.
  • Self-referrals (referring yourself using a different email or account) are not permitted and may result in forfeiture of referral credits.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with 30 days' notice.

8. Stripe Connect and Payment Processing

NvrSlow integrates with Stripe Connect to enable you to accept payments from your customers directly. When your customers pay for detailing services through your NvrSlow booking page or invoices:

  • Payments are processed through Stripe and deposited directly into your connected Stripe account.
  • NvrSlow collects a platform fee of 0.5% on each transaction processed through Stripe Connect. This fee is deducted automatically before funds are deposited to your account.
  • Standard Stripe processing fees also apply and are separate from the NvrSlow platform fee.
  • You are responsible for setting up and maintaining your Stripe Connect account, including compliance with Stripe's terms and any applicable tax obligations.

NvrSlow does not hold or have direct access to your customer payment funds. All payment processing is handled by Stripe in accordance with their terms of service and security standards.

9. SMS Messaging Terms

NvrSlow provides SMS messaging features for appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and other business communications sent to your customers. By using SMS features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Consent required: You must obtain proper consent from your customers before sending them SMS messages through NvrSlow. Consent is collected via an opt-in checkbox during the booking process.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on booking activity. Automated messages include booking confirmations, day-before appointment reminders, and post-service follow-ups.
  • Opt-out: Recipients may reply STOP to any message to opt out of future SMS communications. You must honor all opt-out requests.
  • Costs: Message and data rates may apply to recipients depending on their mobile carrier and plan.
  • Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of SMS messaging complies with all applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any state-specific regulations.

SMS messaging is provided through Twilio. NvrSlow is not responsible for message delivery failures caused by carrier filtering, invalid phone numbers, or network issues.

10. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create through NvrSlow, including but not limited to:

  • Before-and-after photos of your detailing work
  • Business information, service descriptions, and pricing
  • Client records and vehicle information
  • Booking notes and communications

By uploading content to NvrSlow, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use your content for marketing or share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including obtaining consent from individuals depicted in photographs.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use NvrSlow to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam through the SMS features
  • Upload or transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use terms.

12. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using NvrSlow, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • NvrSlow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
  • In no event shall NvrSlow, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount of subscription fees you have paid to NvrSlow in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • By you: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your account settings.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your data will remain available for export for 30 days. After this 30-day period, your data may be permanently deleted. We are not obligated to retain your data beyond this period.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email or through a prominent notice within the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of NvrSlow after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
